High-Performance Dual Source Heat Pump Technology
Pure Thermal’s dual source heat pump range is designed to deliver high output temperatures, with models capable of reaching up to 120°C. Available in capacities from 30kW to 3000kW, these systems provide industrial and commercial heating solutions that meet the demands of process heating, district heating, and high-temperature water applications. One of the key advantages of Pure Thermal’s dual source technology is its ability to operate based on a source supply hierarchy. This means the system will always prioritise the highest available temperature for heat extraction, optimising efficiency and reducing electricity consumption. For example, if a chilled water return system provides a 14°C flow during certain periods, the heat pump will select this source over lower-temperature ambient air, ensuring maximum energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
For medium-capacity applications, Pure Thermal offers single-stage Monobloc systems, capable of delivering output temperatures of up to 70°C without requiring a cascade or two-stage configuration. For larger installations, the Pure Thermal PLUS SO System provides a two-stage dual source heat pump, integrating single-system control and operation to streamline efficiency in large-scale heating applications.
